How working with me actually goes.
The unglamorous answers most freelancer pages skip. Read this before you start a brief — better both of us know what we're signing up for.
How I communicate
- Daily Loom updates during active builds. 3-5 minutes each.
- Async-first. Slack/Telegram/email. Calls only when async fails.
- Response within 2 hours during EU business hours.
- Weekends and Sundays are off — emergencies get a Telegram ping; routine work doesn't.
- Live preview URL from day one of every build.
What I need from you
- Goals in plain language: what does shipping this product look like for your business?
- Examples of sites/apps you like, and a sentence on what you like about each.
- Any existing assets — Figma files, brand guidelines, copy decks, code repos.
- A real decision-maker available to approve scope and review milestones (no "let me check with three other people" loops).
- Honest budget signal so I don't over-design for what you can spend, or under-deliver for what you actually need.
What you get
- Full source code in your GitHub from day one.
- Deploy access — your domain, your accounts, your control.
- Loom architecture walkthrough explaining the codebase.
- 30 days of bug-fix support after launch (free).
- Commercial license — you own the IP completely after final payment.
- Active clients also get a private project portal with status, recent updates, deliverables checklist, and direct message to me.
NDA & IP
Mutual NDAs are standard. I'll sign yours or use my template — your choice. After final payment, you own all IP and rights to the work product. I retain the right to mention the project in my portfolio unless you explicitly request otherwise (no logo / no name / no description) — that's also fine.
Payment
- 50% to start, 50% on delivery for projects over €5K.
- 100% upfront via Fiverr for smaller engagements (Fiverr provides their own buyer protection).
- Bigger SaaS / multi-month engagements: milestone-based, quartered.
- Stripe, Wise, EU bank transfer, crypto. Whatever's easiest for you.
- Late payment incurs a 1.5%/month interest charge after 14 days. I've never had to invoke this.
My limits
- I won't take on illegal, extremist, or scam projects. Includes shadow-affiliate-marketing schemes, unregulated financial products, sketchy crypto.
- I won't work with people who can't articulate what they want. The kickoff call exists to surface this; if we can't agree on scope, I'll pass.
- I won't ghost or disappear mid-project. If something goes wrong on my side, you'll hear about it within 24h with a path forward.
- I don't take equity in lieu of payment. Cash + small equity for founder-clients I genuinely believe in is a maybe; all-equity is a no.
The fine print
- One round of major revisions is included. More = scope change with a separate quote.
- Kill fee: if you cancel mid-build, you pay 50% of the contract + work-to-date. I keep the partial work and don't bill further.
- Scope creep is friendly but firm — every "and also" gets logged as a v1.1 ticket, not folded into the build.
- Force majeure (illness, family emergency, etc.) gets disclosed within 24h. I don't ghost.
Ready when you are.
