Hi, I'm Hunter - a solo full-stack dev based in Belgium, working with clients worldwide. Design since 2014, code since 2022, shipping for clients since 2024. I take ideas from "hmm what if..." to real working apps that actually ship.

02 ✦ About

Who's behind this thing?

Hunter Yip
★ It's me

I'm Hunter - originally from Belgium and now traveling the world while working, but my home base stays in Belgium. I've been writing code way too much for the last few years. I learned a lot of it from my uncle and mentor, Tommy Yip, and these days I ship things people actually pay for.

My whole approach is fast & finished. Most "MVPs" take agencies 3 months and look like a Wix template at the end. I do the same thing in a week, in production-grade code, with a design that doesn't make people cringe.

I work the full stack - design, frontend, backend, deploy - so projects don't get lost in handoffs between three different freelancers who blame each other when things break.

Most of my work happens on Replit + Vercel + Supabase. I've shipped iOS apps without owning a Mac, deployed VPS infra from a browser, and built AI tools that handle real client workloads in production.

Drizzle ORM

Type-safe SQL on top of Supabase that doesn't get in your way

Most ORMs trade SQL clarity for type safety and end up with both worse SQL and worse types. Drizzle gives you both - write SQL-shaped queries with full TypeScript inference, no Prisma generation step, no runtime overhead. I've switched every Supabase project I run to it.

Built end-to-end. Shipped fast.

i

MVP builds

Your idea, in real working code, in a week. Web (Next.js) or mobile (Expo). Auth, database, payments, deploy - all included, none of the runaround.

  • Live URL day one
  • Daily progress updates
  • You own all the code
ii

SaaS products

Multi-tenant, subscription billing, role-based dashboards, the boring infra that makes things actually work in production. Stripe or Polar.

  • Subscription billing wired
  • Admin + customer dashboards
  • API + webhooks
iii

AI apps

Custom apps powered by Claude, GPT, or open models. RAG, embeddings, document chat, autonomous agents, AI internal tools. Token-cost optimized.

  • RAG & vector DBs
  • Agent workflows
  • Cost-aware design
iv

Demos that close

Pitch demos for agencies and founders selling to non-technical buyers. Award-winning visual quality. Built to win the deal, not impress the dev team.

  • Stunning interactive HTML
  • Replit handoff ready
  • Built in 3-5 days

? ✦ FAQ

Things people ask before hiring me.

For most MVPs - 7 days, end to end. That's design, build, deploy, and handoff. For SaaS products with multi-tenant complexity, expect 3-6 weeks. I do small landing pages or pitch demos in 3-5 days. The trick isn't magic - it's that I don't context-switch, I work on one project at a time, and I use a stack (Next.js + Supabase + Replit) I know like the back of my hand.

Yes, completely. Full source code, deployment scripts, environment configs - everything goes to your GitHub on day one. You can hire any other developer to take over without me. I include a Loom walkthrough so you (or your team) understand the architecture.

Default web stack: Next.js 14, TypeScript, Tailwind, Supabase, Drizzle ORM, Stripe, deployed on Vercel. Mobile: Expo + React Native. AI work: Claude / OpenAI APIs, RAG with Supabase pgvector. I host most projects on Replit during development for the live preview workflow, then move to Vercel/your cloud at launch. WordPress when clients specifically need it.

Most clients pay through Fiverr (which gives you buyer protection), but for projects over €5K I prefer direct invoicing - typically 50% upfront, 50% on delivery. Bigger SaaS builds get split across milestones. I accept bank transfer, Stripe, and crypto.

I include 2 weeks of post-launch fixes free with every build. After that, I offer a monthly retainer (€800-2,500/mo depending on scope) for ongoing development, but most clients don't need it - the code I ship is meant to be maintained by your team or any developer. I'm always available for one-off fixes too.

Yes, happily. Mutual NDAs are standard for me. I sign yours or use a template - whichever you prefer. I also won't list a project on my portfolio without explicit permission.
